Brian Cobble "Tent Rocks" Hand Colored Woodcut

My old friend Brian Cobble came into Dallas this weekend for the opening of Roger Winter's retrospective at the MAC. Brian had a few pieces in the show as one of Roger's select students. I saw people at the show that I haven't seen in over a decade.

I studied drawing and painting with Roger Winter at SMU from 1975-78. He gave my the honor of showcasing one of my cartoons at a show he had at the prestigious Meadows Museum in Dallas. There was my cartoon drawing, hanging in the same museum as Diego Velasquez and Francisco de Goya masterworks -- thanks, Roger!
