Producer Aureo Baqueiro wins 2011 Latin Grammy for
Best Pop Album of the Year by Duo or Group with Vocals

Los Angeles, CA – Multiple Latin Grammy Winner, Aureo Baqueiro captured the award for Best Pop Album of the Year for Duo or Group with Vocals for his album: Alex, Jorge y Lena (Alex, Jorge y Lena) at the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards which took place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Thursday, November 10th.

Among the nine previous nominations his work has had, Baqueiro has won the 2002 Best Album Pop Duo or Group for the production of Sin Bandera; 2004 Best Album Pop Duo or Group, again for Sin Bandera and 2006 Best Rock album Duo or Group for the production of Natalia y la Forquetina. He also took home Ritmo Son‘s Award for Song of the Year, “Estés en donde estés”, performed by Ha-Ash in 2004 and three OYE Awards for Album of the Year: Sin Bandera’s self title album in 2004, Alejandro Fernandez “A corazón abierto” ("with an Open Heart ") in 2005 and "México-Madrid, directo y sin escalas" ("Mexico-Madrid, Nonstop") also by Alejandro Fernandez in 2006.  Last year he won the 2010 OYE award Best Female Pop album for producing Thalia’s Multi platinum selling “Primera fila”.

World renowned for his work with Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Ha-Ash, Alejandro Fernandez, Motel, Natalia Lafourcade and Aleks Syntek among many others, Baqueiro has gained further global recognition for his production, songwriting and composing work as musical director of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Currently he is working on the new solo album by Leonel Garcia, (ex-Sin Bandera).

Los Angeles, CA –  El artista multi-nominado Aureo Baqueiro capturo el Grammy por el mejor Álbum Pop Duo o Grupo con Vocales. Su álbum Alex, Jorge y Lena (Alex, Jorge y Lena) Fue el álbum ganador en la doceava entrega anual de los Latín Grammys que se presentaron en el Mandalay Bay en Las Vegas el jueves 10 de Noviembre.

Dentro de sus nueve nominaciones previas Baqueiro ha ganado el 2002 Mejor Album Pop Duo o Grupo para la producción de Sin Bandera, 2004 Mejor Album Pop Dúo o Grupo, una vez más de Sin Bandera y 2006 Mejor Dúo o Grupo álbum Rock para el producción de Natalia y La Forquetina. También se llevó a casa el premio Ritmo Son en la categoría Canción del Año, "Estés en Donde Estés", interpretado por Ha-Ash, en 2004 y tres Premios OYE por Álbum del Año: "Sin Bandera" en 2004 por Sin Bandera, en el 2005 por "A corazón abierto" de Alejandro Fernández, y en 2006 por "México-Madrid, Directo y sin escalas", también de Alejandro Fernández. En el 2010 Baqueiro se llevó a casa el premio de Mejor Album Pop Femenino con la producción de “Primera fila” de Thalía un álbum que alcanzo el reconocimiento de multi-platinum.

Conocido por su trabajo con Thalía, Paulina Rubio, Ha-Ash, Alejandro Fernández, Motel, Natalia Lafourcade y Aleks Syntek, entre muchos otros, Baqueiro ha ganado el mayor reconocimiento mundial por su producción, composición de canciones y director musical en la apertura y cierre ceremonias de los Juegos Panamericanos 2011 en Guadalajara. Actualmente, está trabajando en el nuevo álbum de solista para Leonel García, (ex-Sin Bandera).

HRH Princess Theodora of Greece & Denmark to attend 2011 Latin Grammy’s

Los Angeles, CA (11/7/11) -- HRH Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark (Teodora de Grecia y Dinamarca) will be attending the 2011 Latin Grammy’s in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 10, 2011.

The daughter of King Constantine II of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark, HRH Princess Theodora has been the highlight of worldwide entertainment news these past two weeks, following the announcement of her addition as a recurring character on globally broadcast American soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful (Belleza y Poder), where she will play a recurring character of Alison, a personal secretary to publishing baddie Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). 

Additionally, Princess Theodora just returned from Mexico’s Baja Studios, where she filmed a cameo role for multi-award winning filmmaker Alejandro Monteverde’s new feature film, “Little Boy” which stars Sean Astin, Emily Watson, Kevin James, David Henrie, Tom Wilkinson, Ben Chaplin and Ali Landry (produced by Leo Severino and Eduardo Verástegui – who also appears in the film).

Currently, Princess Theodora may be seen in the Neil LaBute play, “AutoBahn” at the Renegade Theatre in Los Angeles, which runs to November 20, 2011.

“I am truly honored to have been invited to attend the Latin Grammys – the Latin culture and people have a very special place in my heart – they are passionate, warm, colorful and caring, much like the people in Greece.  Filming in Mexico was a wonderful experience and I hope to visit and maybe even film, in many other countries soon. I am practicing my Spanish to ensure I am ready!”
