I made fun of the Turkish Phantom for wearing a fire engine red costume, but here's Batman donning hot pink togs. Robin tactfully describes them as "red," but in the dim Batcave the costume appears a bit more flamboyant than mere red.
Hot pink is surely the kiss of death for the Cowled Crusader's famed credo, "Criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot, so my disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts. I must be a creature of the night, black, terrible...!"
